Join our Marketing Localisation team

Our Marketing Localisation team helps the world’s biggest entertainment brands connect with audiences across borders ensuring that trailers, promos, key art, teasers, and other marketing assets feel authentic, engaging, and on-brand in every language.

We’re now expanding our LA-based team and looking for a talented Project Manager to take the lead on complex, multi-language projects for our key California-based clients. This is an exciting opportunity to work at the heart of global entertainment, managing fast-paced, high-profile projects while building lasting relationships with our clients and global teams.

What you’ll do

Project & Delivery Management

• Lead the end-to-end lifecycle of complex, multi-language localisation projects from quoting, planning, and scheduling to budgeting, QC, delivery, and invoicing.
• Ensure every project is delivered on time, on budget, and to VSI’s world-class quality standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across VSI’s global facilities, ensuring smooth coordination and communication.

Client Relationship Management

• Act as the primary point of contact for key LA-based clients, building strong, trusted relationships, alongside LA-based Client Services Team Lead.
• Provide proactive account management support, understanding client needs, offering advice, and identifying opportunities for additional services.
• Lead client calls, production meetings, and feedback sessions, ensuring client expectations are met or exceeded.

Commercial Oversight & Growth

• Oversee project budgets, monitor financial performance, and manage change orders.
• Support new business efforts by preparing quotes, advising on localisation strategies, and contributing to pre-sales activities

Operational Excellence

• Collaborate with global team leads to refine workflows, drive process improvements, and test new tools.
• Support junior team members, sharing your expertise and helping them navigate client interactions and project challenges as required.
• Provide support to our Brazil and UK teams for client-specific request.

What we’re looking for

• At least 2 years’ experience in localisation or media project management, ideally working with streaming platforms or major entertainment brands.
• Proven client-facing experience, with excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects under pressure in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Financially savvy, with experience handling budgets, invoicing, and change orders.
• Hands-on knowledge of localisation services, including graphics localisation, subtitling, dubbing, and access services.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; familiarity with subtitling tools and translation software (e.g., Trados, MemoQ) is a plus.
• Degree in Translation, Audiovisual Translation, or a related discipline preferred.
• Fluency in English (additional languages are a plus).
• Flexible, adaptable, and excited to work across roles and regions in a global, evolving department.
