Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and monitor machinery in adherence to standard operating procedures to ensure optimum production output.
• Perform routine inspections and maintenance on machines to ensure they are in proper working condition.
• Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals and deadlines.
• Follow safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
• Report equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to the maintenance department.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Lumbermill & rotator attachment experience preferred.
• Proven experience as a machine operator.
• Knowledge of industrial machinery, tools, and equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety standards.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Minimum 1 year of forklift experience in a fast-paced environment.

Job Type: Full time

Compensation: $18-$19/hr. Production bonus available for some positions

Probation: Review after 90 days.

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule: Monday to Friday 6am-2:30pm
