Job Title: Lab Technician (JR.)

Location: Santa Clara, CA (100% onsite)

Job Duration: 6+m Contract

Primary Skills:

• Experience working with General camera and lab equipment operating
• Basic manual skills including toolmanship and equipment assembly
• Basic photography / picture-taking skills, with attention to visual details
• Basic photography / picture-taking skills, with attention to visual details
• Good communication skills (verbal & written) in English
• All necessary camera training will be provided.

Preferred:

• Entry level position - candidate with a background in imaging or an interest in camera/video a plus
• Hardware assembly or debugging experience would be a plus
• Position would be good for someone who wants to work in a different domain of engineering
• Tools: Windows camera app (for image capture) and various proprietary tools

Responsibilities:

• Basic lab management, lab equipment bring-up and maintenance
• Camera competitive analysis and benchmarking, field testing, image / video capture
• Create demo scene setups, collect results, and prepare test reports.

• We are looking for talented and result-oriented individuals to support our team through image / video capture, camera benchmarking, and field testing. You will operate imaging laboratory equipment and cameras, collect objective performance indicators, and prepare test reports.
• The ideal candidates should be self-motivated, passionate about cameras and image quality, and have a critical eye and attention to detail. They should have effective communication skills, and the ability to learn quickly and work efficiently with team members of diversified backgrounds. This is an entry-level position; the successful candidate will be trained to correctly and efficiently perform job duties

Qualification:

Associate or bachelor’s degree in computer science, electrical engineering, or other relevant areas.
