Jewelry Brand & Retail Coordinator (Part-Time to Full-Time)

Are you a creative soul with a love for jewelry, events, and building community? Chasing Indigo is looking for a dynamic individual to step into a hybrid role that blends creativity, retail, events, and entrepreneurial spirit.

As the owner transitions to the East Coast, we’re searching for someone who can be the heart of our Austin space—someone who thrives wearing many hats and is excited to grow with the business. This role begins part-time, with the intention to grow into a full-time position by spring.

Blending timeless inspiration with modern expression, our collections are rooted in laid-back luxury and designed with heart. Through signature styles and hands-on experiences, we aim to spark joy, foster connection, and offer jewelry that tells your story—and goes with you wherever life leads.

What You’ll Do

Retail & Studio Operations

  • Manage daily retail and studio operations with care, consistency, and creativity
  • Open and close the shop, oversee inventory, and ensure the space reflects our brand aesthetic
  • Serve as the welcoming face of the brand and maintain strong customer relationships
  • Oversee and fulfill online orders, ensuring accurate packaging, timely shipping, and excellent customer communication

Jewelry Making & Permanent Jewelry

  • Create custom and in-house jewelry pieces, including our popular charm bar offerings
  • Perform permanent jewelry welding services with precision and attention to detail
  • Lead and fulfill personalized jewelry orders with craftsmanship and timeliness

Events & Experiences

  • Coordinate and host in-store events such as charm bar parties, private bookings, workshops, and pop-ups
  • Promote and secure private events, including bachelorette parties, birthdays, and company gatherings (goal of at least one event per week)
  • Collaborate on seasonal promotions and community gatherings that bring people together

Local Markets & Pop-Ups

  • Manage and participate in local markets, festivals, and pop-up events
  • Handle setup and breakdown of booths, sales transactions, and on-site customer engagement
  • Represent Chasing Indigo with enthusiasm, professionalism, and brand pride

Marketing & Social Media

  • Manage and grow our social media presence (Instagram, TikTok, etc.)
  • Create engaging, on-brand content showcasing our jewelry, events, and community energy
  • Support email marketing, customer communication, and event promotions

Who You Are
  • A creative, self-starter with strong organizational and leadership skills
  • Must have prior retail experience , ideally in jewelry, fashion, or a boutique environment
  • Must have a car and valid driver’s license for markets, pop-ups, and event transportation
  • Must be available to work weekends for in-store traffic and event coverage
  • Passionate about jewelry, design, and building community
  • Reliable, flexible, and comfortable managing a space with minimal oversight
  • Social media savvy and confident in photo/video creation and editing
  • Comfortable with (or eager to learn) jewelry-making and permanent jewelry welding
  • Loves hosting, connecting with people, and bringing positive energy into the space
  • Entrepreneurial-minded—ready to grow with a business.
