Compensation: $40–$55/hour ($80,000–$110,000 annually)

A leading HVAC company in Farmingdale, NY is seeking an experienced and dependable HVAC Service Technician to join their team. This role involves installing, servicing, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems for both residential and commercial clients. Compensation: $40–$55/hour ($80,000–$110,000 annually)

Key Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems at residential and commercial locations
• Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance
• Diagnose and resolve electrical and mechanical issues
• Deliver timely and effective repair solutions
• Communicate clearly with clients regarding system performance and maintenance
• Complete service reports, work orders, and documentation accurately
• Adhere to safety standards, local codes, and refrigerant handling regulations

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on HVAC service experience
• Valid HVAC certification and/or license
• EPA Certification for refrigerant handling
• Strong understanding of HVAC diagnostics and tools
• Excellent troubleshooting and attention to detail
• Professional communication and customer service skills
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training preferred
