Glazier / Commercial Installer
Glass & Mirror, Inc., the Twin Cities’ source for professional glass services, is growing! We’re located in Blaine and looking for experienced Glaziers or skilled construction professionals interested in joining our commercial installation team. We value people with grit, enthusiasm, and a genuine interest in learning and growing in this trade. (Your experience will determine starting pay.)
Position Overview
This is a full-time position with opportunities for overtime. Flexibility is important — while most work is during standard weekday hours, occasional nights, weekends, or travel may be required. Additional compensation is provided for work outside regular hours.
This is a hands-on, physical role that involves standing, lifting, and working on your feet throughout the day. Applicants should be comfortable using lifts and ladders, bending, kneeling, and working in a variety of field conditions. Typical lifting is up to 20 lbs., with occasional heavier items (up to 70 lbs. or more).
What You’ll Do

• Frame Installation: Set and secure aluminum framing and hardware to safely support glass assemblies.
• Sealant Application: Apply proper sealants and adhesives for waterproofing and weatherproofing.
• Glass Repair & Replacement: Safely remove and replace damaged glass or glazing components as needed.
• Blueprint Reading: Read and understand drawings and specifications to ensure precise layout and installation.
• Materials Coordination: Confirm material needs for each project and communicate any orders or shortages to the shop or office.
• Quality & Safety: Follow all company safety procedures, maintain a clean job site, and ensure all work meets company and code standards.
• Teamwork & Communication: Work cooperatively with crew members, foremen, and clients while representing Glass & Mirror with professionalism.
