Summary of Objective:
Makes tooling and parts by reading prints generated by Engineering; translating prints into parts; modifying tooling and parts with or without prints; developing prints off of old parts; and creating tools from scratch. Utilizes the CNC machine to make parts by running the appropriate programs; setting the tolerances; grinding parts if necessary; cleaning parts; checking parts for tolerancing; and completing the necessary paperwork.

4. Knowledge of and the ability to use grinding machines, including surface grinders and bench grinders.
5. The ability to perform general machining activities using mills, lathes, drill press, and other machine shop tools.
6. The ability to read and use micrometers, measuring tools, gauges, indicators and calibration stickers.
7. Knowledge of CNC programming/machining, including the ability to read, understand, and edit basic programs
8. The ability to perform routine and predictive maintenance on equipment and machines
9. General knowledge of machines and equipment functionality, including how and which tools could be used on such equipment machines. This includes the ability to learn new systems quickly, understand how parts relate and how they impact system functionality.
10. Knowledge of and the ability to use a variety of basic hand tools.
11. This position may require overtime and/or weekend work.
12. Knowledge of and adherence to all PCI, cGMP, and GCP policies, procedures, rules.
