Job Description

Are you an experienced and skilled electrician with a passion for working on cutting-edge projects? We are seeking a talented Electrician to join our client on a major Data Centre/Bitcoin Mining Project .

In this role, you'll be responsible for ensuring the efficient installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical systems within a fast-paced, technology-driven environment. The role will be an initial contract for 3 months and will then either extend or move to a full-time permanent role.

Electrician Key Responsibilities:

• Installation & Maintenance : Install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical systems and equipment, including power distribution units (PDUs), backup generators, and cooling systems essential to data centre and mining operations.
• System Troubleshooting : Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical problems, quickly identifying and implementing effective solutions to minimize downtime and optimize system performance.
• Blueprint & Diagram Interpretation : Read and interpret blueprints, technical diagrams, and schematics to ensure accurate installation and adherence to project requirements.
• Code Compliance : Ensure all electrical work complies with local and national electrical codes, regulations, and safety standards to maintain a safe working environment.
• Collaboration : Work closely with other team members, engineers, and project managers to ensure smooth project execution and timely completion.

Electrician Requirements:

• Proven experience as an electrician, with experience in industrial or data centre environments preferred.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, power distribution, backup generators, and cooling systems.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, technical diagrams, and schematics.
• Solid understanding of local and national electrical codes and safety standards.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Electrical certification and relevant qualifications are a must.
