What You'll Do

  • Design and manage electrical engineering projects, ensuring successful execution from concept to completion.
  • Design and develop electrical systems using Autodesk Revit and Autodesk AutoCAD.
  • Design building and site; power, photovoltaic, enginery storage and lighting systems.
  • Prepare and review project specifications to ensure compliance with industry standards
  • Perform load calculations, circuiting, and short-circuit analysis using industry-standard software.
  • Ensure compliance with California energy codes (Title 24) and other applicable regulations.
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, and clients to deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Manage working time on each project to deliver project documents on scheduled milestone deadlines.
  • Ensure projects meet regulatory requirements.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers and project team members.
  • Maintain open communication with stakeholders and facilitate a collaborative work environment.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in an engineering-related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of electrical engineering experience in the MEP industry.
  • EIT or PE certification or equivalent industry experience.
  • Proficiency in Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD.
  • Proficiency in SKM, ETAP. (Power system analysis, load calculations, short-circuit analysis, arc flash studies)
  • Proficiency in Bluebeam Revu.
  • Proficiency in ComCheck, Energy Pro, or other energy code compliance tools.
  • Basic understanding of Lighting Calculation Software.
  • Experience developing and reviewing project specifications.
  • Knowledge of federal and military projects (UFCs and UFGS) is a plus.
  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
