EHSQ Specialist

• Days, Mon-Fri
• $95,000 - $125,000

Duties and responsibilities as an EHSQ Specialist:

• Ability to work as part of a team and/ or independently on a project without constant supervision
• Understanding of fundamental injection molding processes going from pellet to part
• Basic understanding of machine/robot sequence programming
• Basic understanding of mold tooling perform other related duties as requested to meet the ongoing needs of the organization
• Leading the plant's waste minimization and Behavioral Safety Programs, focusing on sustainable options and positive reinforcement
• Collaborate with production teams to review and improve health, safety, environmental, and quality processes, including performing hands-on laboratory work as backup for the Senior Lab Technician when needed.

Experience required:

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related field
• Experience with MS office applications, including word, excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and SAP
• Thorough knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and California State regulations is beneficial
• Lab bench work capability
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, including ability to write and review procedures.
• Ability to successfully time-manage in order to prioritize and complete a variety of competing tasks.
