Job Description
Drywall Estimator - Manchester, NH $130-160k base + bonus! Position Overview The Drywall Estimator will be responsible for assessing project requirements and preparing accurate cost estimates for drywall installation and related services. This role requires a strong understanding of drywall construction processes and excellent analytical skills to ensure competitive and profitable project bids.
Key Responsibilities - Review project plans and specifications to determine the scope of work
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for drywall installation and associated services
- Collaborate with project managers and contractors to gather necessary information for accurate bidding
- Analyze labor, material, and overhead costs to create comprehensive estimates
- Maintain relationships with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing
- Provide support during the bidding process and respond to client inquiries regarding estimates
- Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and best practices to enhance estimating accuracy
Qualifications - 5+ years commercial drywall estimating experience
- Strong knowledge of drywall installation techniques and materials
- Proficiency with OST software
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Excellent mathematical and analytical skills
- Proficient in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
