We are seeking candidates for a Drafter role. Compensation for this direct hire opportunity is $40,000-$66,560 annually. Interested? Get more details below!

What you will do as a Drafter:

• Review the project scope of work with the project manager and/or drafting manager
• Produce necessary sketches, drawings, and schedules using company-provided software (Microvellum, AutoCAD, Office 365)
• Review and self-edit shop drawings to assure adherence to project requirements, bid allowances, and company standards
• Revise drawing sets and documentation per markups to prepare necessary shop and job site document sets
• Communicate with internal departments and outside vendors
• Assist Project Managers in managing drawing sets and project-specific documentation
• Work with multiple project managers and projects concurrently
• Use available resources to build your job-related skills and value in the department/company

What you need to be a Drafter:

• CAD experience. Fluent in AutoCAD
• Ability to think in 3D
• Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings
• Computer literate – ability to navigate using Windows and Microsoft applications
• Flexibility –requires extended periods working in a general office environment, working on multiple projects concurrently
• Ability to use basic measuring tools – tape measure, architect's scale, protractor, and digital caliper
• Excellent math skills
• Excellent communication skills
