Job Title: EH&S Director/Manager

Supervisory Responsibilities:

• None

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Plan and implement safety policies and procedures.
• Prepare, implement, and track regular safety training (PPE, Annual Refreshers, Forklift certifications, Hearing Conservation, Respiratory Training).
• Review and update existing safety policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with HR to set up the new employee safety onboarding process.
• Conduct risk assessments and enforce preventative measures.
• Work with supervisors to monitor safety compliance and identify issues.
• Investigate accidents, develop prevention plans, implement, and monitor results.
• Oversee workplace repairs, installations, and tasks that could impact safety.
• Lead monthly safety walks and Safety Committee meetings, ensuring concerns are addressed.
• Oversee maintenance of First Aid and AED equipment.
• Adhere to all safety rules and regulations.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• 7+ years of experience as a Safety Manager or in a similar role (industrial setting preferred).
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Familiar with data analysis and safety reporting.
• Proficient in MS Office.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Team player with great interpersonal and communication abilities.

Education and Experience:

• Four-year degree is preferred
• OSHA 30-Hour General Industry Certification.
• OSHA 501 Certification.
