We are hiring for a charming & uniquely specialized CPA firm that specializes in high-net-worth individuals, farms, trusts, and complex entities. • Tax focused firm (no audit) strategic tax planning and a consultative approach are the heart of their business
• Salary range $135-175k/yr+ & Bonus Opportunity
• Team of less than 20 full time employees + two office doggos!
• CPA or EA preferred and 3+ years of experience
• Ability to conduct tax research and work independently (1031 exchanges/multi-state returns)
• Hybrid role (days are negotiable) office located in Tacoma, WA
• Conveniently located, modern, clean office building with safe on site parking!
• Love open communication, team events, and honest peers, coworkers, and clients!
• The ideal hire has the heart of a teacher and can consult and lead clients

Daily Responsibilities:

• Specialize in tax planning and compliance for trusts, estates, and high-net-worth clients.
• Offer expert tax advisory services and strategic consultation to clients.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to senior accountants and junior staff.
• Conduct in-depth research to resolve complex tax matters.
• Ensure adherence to both state and federal tax regulations.
• Support client relationship management efforts and maintain strong client connections.

Essential Qualifications:

• Extensive experience with state trust returns and 1040 tax filings.
• Preferred background in business return preparation.
• Expertise in managing complex multi-state tax filings.
• Skilled in researching intricate tax issues and offering client advice.
• Excellent communication skills with a consultative approach.
• Experience working with high-net-worth clients is a plus.
• Active CPA

Requires the ability to work for any US employer without VISA sponsorship.
