We are a rapidly growing organization in the Paramus, NJ area. We are seeking to hire a Chemical Plant Operator to join our team of professionals. The ideal candidate will be responsible for but not limited to the following responsibilities:

Position Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and safety-focused Chemical Plant Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have 2–4 years of hands-on experience in a chemical manufacturing environment and a strong understanding of industrial safety standards and operating procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate, monitor, and maintain chemical production equipment such as reactors, pumps, and tanks.
• Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs), safety protocols, and environmental regulations.
• Perform routine inspections and record process data including temperatures, pressures, and flow rates.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and coordinate with maintenance teams as needed.
• Handle raw materials and finished products safely, including loading and unloading materials.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent experience or bachelor’s degree or certification
• 2–4 years of experience in a chemical plant or similar manufacturing setting preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to operate computerized control systems.
• Ability to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) and work in a physically demanding environment.
• Basic knowledge of chemical handling, safety, and hazard communication (HAZCOM).
• Capable of lifting and carrying heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) as necessary for the role.
