A Day In The Life of a Case Manager

The Case Manager inputs, reviews, and processes life insurance applications as they are submitted. Builds relationships with our agents in order to service and retain their business using a variety of communication methods with the primary method being phone and email.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Serves as a first-line resource for agents assisting with processing, questions, and time sensitive cases.
  • Develops and maintains relationships with internal and external clients to enhance business partnerships on behalf of the Enterprise.
  • Recommend steps to agents and internal clients that will move cases to completion within a timely manner.

Desired Competencies and Skills:

  • Proven effective customer service skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to speak in a calm, concise and empathetic manner.
  • Proficient in ability to use multiple computer systems with ability to multi-task.
  • Ability to adapt to changing needs and process improvement changes.
  • Proven strong analytical skills, including demonstrated experience identifying and quantifying problems and providing effective resolutions.
  • Demonstrate strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills
