JDE Business Systems Analyst - 1- year contract
Location: Northern California: Watsonville, CA - Hybrid (Flexible locations near Watsonville, Hellyer, or Burlingame, with an expected 1-3 days per week in the office)
Contract : 12 months, with intent to convert to a full-time employee if a JDE Financial HR BSA in the Watsonville area
Start Date: ASAP
Interview Process: 2-3 round
1st - local candidate to Watsonville, CA (Bay Area) must come in 1-3 days onsite. Can work from 3 different locations (San Jose, San Francisco or Watsonville, CA). This candidate can split time but will be expected to travel to Watsonville once per week. This candidate should be a generalist, and will be expected to work on the following type of projects: Finance, HR, equipment, and purchasing.
2nd - fully remote candidate out of the area, I define this as someone who lives 50-60 miles away from the locations listed above, cannot travel onsite whatsoever because of distance from home. This candidate should be more heavy on the equipment and purchasing side. If they have a generalist background in addition to equipment even better.
Info about the team: You will be joining a small, critical JDE team of two, focused on maximizing the value of the ERP system for core business functions. This team reports directly to the VP of Finance.
Internal Notes: Had created a JDE team. Know someone who knows JDE and is the data owner. Need a system owner . Operate day to day and coordinate with vendors any new changes that need to be made. Pay Terillium to develop and make changes. This person is the BSA for JDE in general. Wherever they don't have a strong suit, they will rely on the vendor. Financials and HR most important, equipment and purchasing projects this year. Equipment-don't even use the JDE module at this time, add fixed and mobile equipment management in JDE. All equipment under there to manage it going forward. Set up from scratch. Would love it if they have configuration experience. Clean up security. Open enrollment-will coordinate with terrilium. Some configuration experience would be great, but not required. Being able to make changes would be a plus. Lean towards gathering requirements. The last person that they had did enough projects and was able to change security roles. Full-time hire, would like to do a contract to hire. If they find people who are very specific. Open to temp to hire versus just getting temps that know really good areas. Preference would be for a JDE analyst with more general experience. 9.2. This year update processes, test scripts, make sure everything is ready to upgrade in 2027. 90% of the team is in watsonville. For temp position, could be hybrid. Watsonville once a week or getting to hellyer when the VP of finance. Permanent could be hellyer, burlingame, then watsonville, a couple of days a week.
