Job Description

Job Summary :

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Office Clerk and Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong administrative skills and be proficient in various clerical tasks. This role involves supporting daily operations, and providing exceptional customer service. The Office Clerk will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth functioning of our office environment.

This position is in person, in Deer Park, NY .

Responsibilities :

  • Answer and direct calls using a multi-line phone system with excellent phone etiquette.
  • Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently, maintaining organized records.
  • Assist with filing, proofreading documents, and managing correspondence.
  • Utilize Microsoft Office and Google Workspace for document creation and management.
  • Support bookkeeping tasks, including basic accounting functions using QuickBooks.
  • Maintain calendar management for scheduling appointments and meetings.
  • Provide customer support by addressing client needs and resolving issues promptly.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure effective office management and workflow efficiency.
  • Assist with clerical duties as needed, contributing to overall administrative functions.

Requirements :

  • Previous office experience is preferred, with a background in clerical or administrative roles.
